Meet Dr. Patt

Dr. Virginie Patt is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist specializing in comprehensive evaluations for adults. Her clinical expertise includes assessing neurodivergence, neurodegenerative disorders, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology through the joint doctoral program at San Diego State University and the University of California, San Diego, and is licensed with the Board of Registration of Psychologists in Massachusetts.

Dr. Patt’s research background has included parsing the neurocognitive processes involved during neuropsychological testing and studying the cognitive neuroscience of memory and decision-making, utilizing brain imaging and computational modeling. Her research has informed her clinical approach and deepened her understanding of how we think and remember.

Dr. Patt brings a uniquely interdisciplinary perspective to her work. Before pursuing neuropsychology, she earned a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering and space science from the University of Michigan, bringing analytical precision and creative problem-solving to her clinical work.

Dr. Patt has clinical and research experience at Boston University, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Walter Reed Medical Center, the University of California San Diego, and San Diego State University.
